Anka
Kusu, a Middle Eastern dance and music troupe out of Central
NJ,
seeks percussionists and
melody musicians of all types to add to our current lineup.
We offer a unique performance combining both music and
dance that have their roots in Israel, Turkey, Armenia,
Egypt, The Balkans, Greece, Syria and other points in the
Middle East - all presented with an aggressive American
edge. A background in Middle Eastern music, while helpful,

Mosaic Dance Theater Company
[ www.MosaicDanceTheaterCo.org ] , a professional, non-profit,
tax-exempt organization seeks experienced dancers for the Company.
Samara, Artistic Director for Dance and Choreographer; Morgiana
Celeste Varricchio, Producing Artistic Director. Dancers should have
thorough Middle Eastern dance training, including classical oriental
dance and folkloric dance of North Africa and the Middle East.
Additional dance training in ballet, jazz and modern dance, as well
as theatrical experience is preferred. Must be able to learn and
retain new and existing choreographies from the repertoire, and
perform them according to the Choreographer’s directions. Ongoing
company rehearsals in NYC (Times Square area) on Mondays from 5-10
PM and on Wednesdays from 8-10 PM. Weekly class in NYC with Samara
is required. Some pay for performances. Individual
auditions/interview by appointment only to be held throughout

“Celebrating the Mediterranean’s Lively Arts”
TsunamiDance Ensemble,
a contemporary dance company in the Philadelphia region, is
auditioning dancers for four new dance/theatre pieces based
upon Mythological and Biblical characters. These dances are
to be performed at The Philadelphia Fringe Festival and The
International Festival of Dance in Staten Island as well as
other dance/theatre festivals. We are looking for well
trained Belly Dancers, Sword Dancers and Cane Dancers who
are able to learn and retain movement as well as develop
characters.
Rehearsals take place in the
Riverton/Cinnaminson area, accessible by car and train.
How would you like to be a part
of an incredible and professional dance team?
A dance team that works together , trains and performs at

You dont have to be skilled in all these areas of dance,
however, you can participate in more than one of them based on
your skill.
