intensive -- don't miss this chance for a profound
learning experience with a consummate artist.
Dancing Through Art:
A 3-Day Exploration with Mira Betz
August 6-8
Join Mira for an in-depth study on moving outside of
the "bellydance box". You will work on building
stamina and creative ways to use space, utilizing
design principles with progressive exercises aimed
to improve your dance and inform your movement and
carriage. You will learn how fine art and
composition can create a distinct style, unique to
your body and form. This will be a cumulative
course, touching on multiple subjects and building
over the three days with Mira. Bring scissors,
paper, glue, and some spare magazines or images that
inspire you.
Full weekend:

August 6th from 7:00-9:00pm
Saturday August 7th from 11am-5pm (1 hour break)
Sunday August 8th from 11am-6pm (1 hour break)
If you're unable to attend the full intensive, you

Open workshop: Movement Through Intention
Friday August 6th from 7:00-9:00pm
Regardless of dance experience and style of choice
there is intrinsic source of movement within each of
us, a need to move. Through exercises in
concentration, bodily coordination and aesthetic
sensibility we will explore this intention and work
on incorporating it into your movement vocabulary
bringing each dancer closer to an individually
authentic "voice" in their dance; Building a bridge
between learned technique and fluid expression.
